ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ
      Προσοχή
      Σας ενημερώνουμε ότι το ΥΠΠΟ που ήταν επιφορτισμένο με την ενεργοποίηση των χρηματικών βραβείων δε θα το κάνει για του λόγους που επεξηγεί στο παρακάτω έγγραφο

           Ο σύλλογος  Φοιτητών του Τμήματος Κινηματογράφου, της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών ΑΠΘ  στα πλαίσια του Έτους Καβάφη ανακοινώνει τη διεξαγωγή ενός διεθνούς διαγωνισμού ταινιών  εμπνευσμένων από την ποίηση του Κ. Π. Καβάφη που απευθύνεται σε φοιτητές Ανώτατων Εκπαιδευτικών Ιδρυμάτων, με στόχο να επιστήσει την προσοχή  στην επικαιρότητα και παγκοσμιότητα του έργου του μέσα από τη συνάντησή του με το βλέμμα, τους προβληματισμούς και τις επιθυμίες της σημερινής εποχής. Οι διαγωνιζόμενοι θα πρέπει να καταθέσουν ταινίες διάρκειας μέχρι πέντελεπτά χωρίς κανέναν περιορισμό για το στυλ και το αισθητικό πλαίσιο που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί (ταινία, φωτο-ιστορία, digital art κτλ), με μοναδικό κριτήριο την απόδοση της Καβαφικής ποίησης και του μικρόκοσμου της.

           Ο διαγωνισμός είναι ανοιχτός σε φοιτητές όλων των τομέων και βαθμίδων της τριτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης (προπτυχιακοί, μετα/χιακοί κτλ) ενώ οι συμμετοχές μπορεί να είναι ατομικές ή ομαδικές. Στη δεύτερη περίπτωση χρειάζεται ένα τουλάχιστον μέλος της ομάδας να σχετίζεται με την τριτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση.

           Προβλέπεται να υπάρξουν τρία χρηματικά βραβεία, η ενεργοποίηση των οποίων εξαρτάται από το ΥΠΠΟ και για την οποία οι διαγωνιζόμενοι θα  ειδοποιηθούν εγκαίρως

1ο    1,500 Ευρώ

2ο    1,000 Ευρώ

3ο       800 Ευρώ

 και ένα βραβείο κοινού.

           Η επιτροπή που θα επιλέξει τα βραβεία θα αποτελείται από φοιτητές και αποφοίτους σχολών κινηματογράφου και ειδικούς στο έργο του Καβάφη.

Παρακολούθησα το Μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα Σπουδές στον Πολιτισμό της Μαύρης Θάλασσας στο Διεθνές Πανεπιστήμιο Ελλάδας, και τώρα γράφω την μεταπτυχιακή μου εργασία που έχει σχέση με τον Κοσμοπολιτισμό.             Οι διαγωνιζόμενοι θα πρέπει να μεταφορτώσουν το έργο τους στο YouTube ή το Vimeo στην καλύτερη δυνατή ανάλυση. Όπου είναι απαραίτητο, η γλώσσα που θα χρησιμοποιείται θα είναι αυτή του/των δημιουργού/ων ενώ οι υπότιτλοι θα πρέπει να είναι είτε στα ελληνικά είτε στα αγγλικά. Το link και τα στοιχεία των διαγωνιζόμενων (βιογραφικά στοιχεία των συμμετεχόντων, σύνοψη, τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά και η δήλωση των πνευματικών δικαιωμάτων) θα πρέπει να σταλούν στοcavafycompetition2013@gmail.com.       Κατά την υποβολή του έργου, οι υποψήφιοι πρέπει να δηλώσουν ότι είναι οι δημιουργοί του και ότι το έργο δεν βαρύνεται από δικαιώματα τρίτων (π.χ. των ατόμων που εμφανίζονται στα βίντεο). H φόρμα θα βρίσκεται αναρτημένη στο site του διαγωνισμού. ANNOUNCEMENT

            In the framework of Cavafy Year, The Student Association of the Film School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki  announces the conduct of an international film competition inspired by the poetry of K. P. Cavafy addressed to students of higher education. The aim of the competition is to draw attention to the timeliness and universality of Cavafy's  work through its encounter with the concerns and desires of our times. Contestants must submit films up to five minutes without any constraints on style  (film, photo-story, digital art, etc.). The main issue is for their work to  postulate Cavafy's spirit . 

            The competition is open to students of all fields and levels of higher education (graduate, post-graduate etc) while participation can be individual or collective. In the  case of a collective contribution, the participation should have at least one member  associated with the tertiary education

            The competition would grant  three cash prizes, the activation of which depends on the Ministry of Culture of Greece. For any changes the contestants will be notified in time

3rd     800 Euros

 and a prize awarded after a public voting

            The committee which will select the winners will consist of students and graduates from film schools and experts in the work of Cavafy.

            Contestants should upload their work to YouTube or Vimeo in the best possible resolution. All     works            must    be        presented         in         their     original language. In case of subtitles, they should be either in Greek or English. The link and information about each submission (biographical information of the contestants, synopsis, technical specifications) should be sent to cavafycompetition2013@gmail.com .When submitting their work, the candidates must state that they are the authors and that their work  is free of third party rights (e.g. people visible in the videos).             L' Association des étudiants de l' ’école de cinéma, Faculté des Beaux-Arts de l'Université Aristote dans le cadre de l' année Cavafy annonce la conduite d'un concours international du film  qui s'adresse aux étudiants des établissements d'enseignement supérieur, inspiré par la poésie de Cavafy afin d' attirer l'attention à  l'actualité et l'universalité de son œuvre à travers de sa rencontre avec le regard, les préoccupations et les désirs d'aujourd'hui. Les participants doivent soumettre leur œuvre jusqu'à cinq minutes sans aucune contrainte sur le style et le contexte esthétique (vidéo, photo-histoire, arte digitale, etc ). Seule préoccupation est l' exploration  de la  poésie de Cavafy et son microcosme .

            Le concours est ouvert aux étudiants de tous les secteurs et niveaux de l'enseignement supérieur alors que les entrées peuvent être individuelles ou collectives. Dans le deuxième cas, au moins un membre du groupe doit être associé à l'enseignement supérieur.

            Les  trois prix en argent , dont l'activation dépend de la Ministère de la Culture de la Grèce et pour lesquels les candidats seront informés en temps

Le comité sélectionnera les prix sera constitué d'étudiants et de diplômés des écoles de cinéma et d'experts de l'œuvre de  Cavafy .

            Les participants doivent télécharger leurs travaux sur YouTube ou Vimeo dans la meilleure résolution possible. Où est nécessaire, la langue utilisée sera la langue maternelle du créateur / s, tandis que les sous-titres doivent être soit en grec ou en anglais. Le lien et les détails des soumissionnaires (résumés, sommaire du l'œuvre, les spécifications et la déclaration des droits d'auteur) doivent être envoyées à cavafycompetition2013@gmail.com. Lors de la soumission du projet, les candidats doivent déclarer qu'ils sont les créateurs et que le projet n'est pas alourdie par des droits de tiers ( par exemple les personnes qui apparaissent dans les vidéos). Σκεπτικό Διαγωνισμού/Full description of the competition

Σκεπτικό της πρότασης

Αυτό που κάνει την ποίηση του Καβάφη να μας αφορά σήμερα είναι ότι τοποθετεί στο κέντρο τη διαδρομή από το τοπικό  στο παγκόσμιο, από το μερικό στο οικουμενικό, από το σώμα στην ιστορία κάτι που είναι επιτακτική ανάγκη στην εποχή μας τόσο σε επίπεδο εθνικών-κρατών όσο και σε αυτό των ταυτοτήτων.

Στόχος της πρότασης

           Στόχος είναι η συνάντηση της ποίησης του Αλεξανδρινού με ένα νέο κοινό που μέσα από την εξοικείωση του με τους νέους κώδικες και μέσα επικοινωνίας θα θελήσει να επικοινωνήσει την ουσία του έργου του Καβάφη διαπερνώντας εποχές και εκφράζοντας σημερινά αιτήματα και προβληματισμούς καθώς και μια νέα οπτική.

                 Αναλυτική περιγραφή της πρότασης

Ο Αλεξανδρινός βάζει στο κέντρο της ποίησής του το σώμα. Το σώμα θυμάται, επιθυμεί, ονειρεύεται και αισθάνεται. Είναι η μνήμη αυτού του σώματος που ταξιδεύει πίσω σε χρόνους ελληνιστικούς, σε  καιρούς κρίσης και ματαίωσης των προσδοκιών από ένα δημόσιο βίο που ταλανίζεται από προσωπικά πάθη και κούφια λόγια και οδηγεί σε σπαράγματα ζωής σε πόλεις τόσο μακρινές και τόσο ίδιες. Αυτή η συλλογική και προσωπική κρίση επιτάσσει την επιλογή, το μεγάλο Ναι και το μεγάλο Όχι, που ίσως μετασχηματίσει όχι μόνο το προσωπικό βίο αλλά και το δημόσιο, όχι μόνο στην ιστορία της Νοτιο-Ανατολικής Μεσογείου που σήμερα δοκιμάζεται από πολιτικές συγκρούσεις αλλά και στο παγκόσμιο κοινωνικό-πολιτικό σκηνικό. Είναι αυτό το ίσως, που κάνει την ποίηση του Καβάφη παγκόσμια αφού την οδηγεί στο να διακρίνει την ανθρώπινη φύση μέσα στην αδυναμία της, στο στοιχειώδες άρα και το κοινό και οικουμενικό. Πώς μπορεί να αναδειχθούν καλύτερα οι παραπάνω πτυχές του έργου του Καβάφη σήμερα; Τίποτα δε μπορεί να αναδείξει και να επικαιροποιήσει τις μνήμες και τις μάσκες που ενδύεται το Καβαφικό άτομο όσο η γλώσσα των εικόνων και οι νέες τεχνολογίες αφού αυτές

·                 υπογραμμίζουν τόσο την θεατρικότητα της ποίησής του όσο και την ρευστότητα των ταυτοτήτων που αναδύονται μέσα από τα σκοτεινά σοκάκια της Αλεξάνδρειας που χάνεται και

·                ανιχνεύουν με γλαφυρότητα το μωσαϊκό των αισθημάτων που εκφράζουν τα Καβαφικά υποκείμενα και την αμφισημία τους μέσα από την προσωπική πτώση και την παρακμή της πολιτικής και της ιστορίας

             Grounds for the proposal

What makes the poetry of Cavafy relevant to us today is that locates at its center the transition from the local to the global, from the particular to universal, from the body to the story which are imperative questions in our time both at a national level as well as that of  identities.

          Objectives of the proposal

The objective is the crisscrossing of  the poetry of Cavafy with a new audience by becoming familiar with the new codes and the media which would  communicate the essence of the work of Cavafy overcoming time and expressing current demands and concerns through a new perspective.

      Detailed description of the proposal

Cavafy's poetry puts at its center  the body. The body remembers, desires, dreams and feels. It is the memory of this body,which travels back to the Hellenistic times, in times of crisis and desenchatement of the public culture that is tormented by personal passions and hollow words and results in fragments of life in cities distant but also similar. This collective and personal crisis requires a choice, the big Yes and the big No, that may  transform a personal or a public life,  not only in the South-East Mediterranean which has   been ravaged today by political conflicts but also in the global socio-political landscape. This is perhaps what makes the poetry of Cavafy global because it helps us discern human nature through its failures detecting the elementary and thus, the universal.

How can we better highlight the above aspects of the work of Cavafy today? Nothing can highlight and update the memories and the masks that constitutes Cavafy's person as the language of images and new technologies as these

• highlight both the theatricality of his poetry and the fluidity of identities that emerge through the dark alleys of Alexandria  and

• detect vividly the mosaic of feelings expressed by Cavafy subjects and their ambiguity through personal decline and the decadence of politics and history
